Club Affiliation Dual Registration (CADR) player type allows a player to be registered with US Club Soccer to more than one club at the same time. CADR may be used only under a US Club Soccer-approved ECNL Club Affiliation arrangement and in accordance with the ECNL Club Affiliation Policy. All clubs involved must agree to the player’s dual registration, regardless of whether a formal process is in place to track that agreement.

Note: The roster statuses described in this article apply to the 2026–27 season and the ECNL - 2026-27 US Club Soccer Registration/Passcards and Rosters registration event in GotSport. These statuses may change in future seasons.

Step 1: Register the player with US Club Soccer via GotSport into the ECNL pass card/registration event and designate them as a CADR player type.

Once the player is added and designated as a CADR player in GotSport, follow the steps to register your CADR player to ECNL league in Athlete One.

Step 2: Log into your Athlete One account and navigate to Associations.

Step 3: Select the 26-27 season registration bucket, the org and the team the player will be CADR for.

Note: If the player is not appearing on the team, check if they are in the unfinished player profiles section or if a returning player, confirm they are assigned to the appropriate team in club details.

Step 4: From your team list in associations, the player will be identified with a CADR tag sent from GotSport.

Note: If a player's type looks wrong, the fix is at the GotSport status level, not in Athlete One's checkout screen. Update the player's status in GotSport and allow the sync to run before registering again.

Step 5: Select the checkbox next to each eligible player > click Register in the top-right corner of the page. A fly-out window will open.

Step 6: Confirm the player's Player Type shown in the fly-out is correct > Click Make Payment.

Step 7: A payment fly-out window will open. You can select an existing payment method on file, or click + Add a Credit or Debit Card > select Pay to process the payment.
